Nike iD Japan plans on collaborating with KDDi, a Japanese telecommunications company to create sneakers that match KDDi’s INFOBAR 2 cellular phone. Four different colorways will be created to go along with the four color options of the cell phones. The fabrics being used include woodgrain patterns and crinkled patent leather. Nike is planning to release an Air Max 90 hybrid next year. It is a mix of the Air Max 90 and elements of the Nike Free, including the toe box and front sole. They are expected to release in the Fall / Autumn 2008 season. The all white Air Max 90 is expected to drop around the same time so watch out for both models.

With the success of past Consortium series’, Adidas has decided to release a new collection for this holiday season. Many of Adidas’ signature models will be re-vamped and get new colorways, fabrics and even slight re-imagining. The shoes featured in this collection are all vibrant, colorful and striking. They should sell well as they are released. No info yet on exact release dates but we will keep you updated.

Here are some up close and personal pics of the Nike Dunk Low CL. The colorway is simple, but that is the key to their popularity. They feature suede with varsity purple in the front, black suede in the back and a purple swoosh. The speckled midsole is cool but if it was more the original speckles that are a bit smaller these would be super dope.

Nike has teamed up with Japanese reggae band Ryo The Skywalker to create two pairs of Court Forces. The Court Force High makes use of premium leather in earthtone colors and images of wood, trees, and soil as these represent the earth. The Court Force Low features a translucent sole with a whte and blue upper to represent the sky. Both sneakers utilize a mixture of fine materials and touches such as initials on the lace tags for Ryo The Skywalker and their label Bush Head Music.The Nike x Ryo The Skywalker Pack has released at Atmos in Japan, but will be available to select boutiques in the US this weekend. via HS.

Whether you like Supra or not, they are stepping up their game a lot! They have just released the Skytops in a denim make up. The shoe features dark denim with white contrast stitching which compliments the white patent leather rear panel.These will be more readily available than the 14k Gold Skytops that many will be trying to get their hands on. The best thing about these is you will never have to worry about that new pair of denim bleeding and ruining your new sneakers. Pics via Complex.

It’s been 10 years since the introduction of the Air Max 97, Nike recently put out an all silver version to commemorate this classic to have a full foot-bed Nike Air Unit. A similar ladies version in bronze was scrapped unfortunately. The special silver edition is only available in Europe.
