Super Mario Bros. x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star – 25th Anniversary Collection

One of the most successful video games of all time, Super Mario Bros from Nintendo celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. To pay homage to this historical event Converse pays homage to the original NES version of the game with a monogram style set over the Chuck Taylor All Star. The 8-bit character is applied in several different ways all along either black or white uppers.

Expected release for these will be on July so stay tuned for more details.

Converse Pro Leather x John Varvatos – Black

This season, award winning menswear designer, John Varvatos teams up with Converse on this new Pro Leather sneaker.

Coming in black and white, the upper is completely perforated, with the exception of the eyestay, which is done in smooth leather. The dark upper sit atop of a crisp white sole, keeping it simple in comparison to the intricate upper. The collaborative sneaker is available now at select Converse retailers.

Converse – Star Player 75 Low | Deluxe Red

Famed sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg unveils the third installment of his Star Player 75 series with Converse.

Focusing on producing top tier footwear, he utilizes rich leathers with a strong emphasis on quality. This latest rendition of the Star Player 75 Low Deluxe sports a premium red leather upper with leather wrapped around the midsoles. In addition, details on the shoe include navy blue perforated calf skin lining and the option of rawhide leather or waxed cotton laces.

Limited to only 240 pairs, it will retail for $105 USD this Friday, April 15 (10am) exclusively through David Z. (556 Broadway) New York and through their online store DavidZ.com.

Converse x Ace Hotel – All Star Bosey

On their third collaboration since ’09, the unlikely Ace Hotel x Converse partnership strengthens with the release of the Chuck Taylor All Stay Bosey in an all new navy and black colourway. Inspired by the perennial Chuck Taylor All Star and military boots from the Converse archives, the silhouette was chosen for the way it wears agelessly and the comfort provided by its padded uppers and cushioned footbeds. The insole reads ‘You Are Here’, a slogan that appears at all Ace Hotel properties. Part of the Ace Hotel uniform, 300 pairs are now available at the the chain’s online shop.
