SBTG x Overkill x Converse Chuck Taylor Hi

It was just last month when we first previewed the first sneaker collaboration between Sabotage, a sneaker artist from Singapore, and Nike. Since then, the artist’s popularity has soared. We have spotted a similar collaboration between SBTG, Overkill, and Converse. This pair of Converse Chuck Taylors is inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket and pay tribute to the struggles many soldiers go through when fighting a war. The upper is comprised of black canvas but uses a multitude of details such as bullet holes, graffiti writing, and dark stains on the toe cap/midsole to convey a battle feel. Converse Free Agent

An outdoor hoops sneaker, the Converse Free Agent may look more at home tucked under jeans than on the court. Then again, no one said you can’t have both. Dressed in rich leather and sitting on a cup sole, this shoe shies away from loud accent work and relies instead on subtle color pairings. Both the black and brown pairs show tan accents on the upper, with the former getting help from a Persian Violet liner. Runner Yellow is in place on the brown pair. Converse Poorman Weapon Hi & Low

Converse has released a number of new colorways of the Poorman Weapon, offering both low and high cuts. In the former, a lone Charcoal pair is available, while the traditional high silhouette comes in three color-ups. Deep Lichen, a green similar to olive, is used on the first pair, while black and white and Charcoal and Biking Red come together on the next two, respectively. Grab any or all of the four from Converse.com.

Dr. Romanelli x Converse(RED) “Born in the USA” Chuck Taylor Cups Pack

The Dr. Romanelli x Converse(RED) “Born in the USA” Chuck Taylor Cups Pack finds another rendition of the classic All-Star. Aside from the patriotic upper, this Project(RED) collaboration uses a gum cup sole. Duck canvas dresses the upper using an American flag motif with USA colors on one pair and tonal black on the other. We’ve seen some great collaborations on the Chuck Taylor as of late including the Parra x Converse(RED) Chuck Taylor. Expected to release soon, what are your thoughts?

Last year, we previewed a pair of American Original Woolrich x Converse All-Stars in a blue/black colorway. This pair received pretty positive feedback from readers. For those that are interested in dusting off the old flannel shirt in the closet, this pair would make a great accessory. Converse All-Star Ox Premium

The Converse All Star Ox Special was first previewed in a flashy patent leather material earlier this week. Today, we have discovered a much more subdued colorway of this legendary 1917 sneaker. This white patent leather version feature unique aspects such as tonal stitching and contrast stripes on the midsoles. With Fall right around the corner, these would make a perfect pair of kicks for students to wear back to school.

Converse One Star OX Collection

Following the Converse One Star OX Fall 2010 Collection, we showed you earlier this week, we have now spotted three new One Star Ox available at select spots worldwide. One pair features a red/black checkerboard, wool-textured construction combined with a white, vulcanized sole. The second pair (shown above) possesses a patriotic-like color scheme as it is dressed in a white leather, a red inner lining and a blue outsole. Lastly, the third pair uses a Light Grey suede base with white hints throughout the upper. View the collection in its entirety below.

As a general rule patent leather makes shoes better. The Converse Chuck Taylor Ox Special is no exception, giving the lovable low top more to like.
