Converse is definitely dropping hot new styles as of late, especially since this year marks their 100th year anniversary. Here we feature the One Star Low and the Chuck Taylor High which are inspired by Curt Cobain, with each shoe in the Converse Kurt Cobain Pack being based off of Cobain’s 2002 Book Journals,which can be seen on the white Chuck Taylor High. 2008 marks the 100th year anniversary since Converse’s beginning. ALong with new styles and colorways that they plan on releasing, they are set to go old skool, releasing the Converse Skidgrips which were originally released back in 1940. They were created to give off that vintage look, with the yellow sole which was intentionally made to look worn. The bright colors definitely help to draw attention to the shoe, which were strangely inspired by the American flag. via KicksonFire.

After much hype and anticipation, the Dr. Romanelli x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star were just released yesterday at UNDFTD. They feature an upper covered in bandages, along with perforations throughout the upper, as a reminder that there is a fix for positive change. They were created as part of the PRODUCT RED initiative, which doubles as a humanitarian effort in bringing the private sector to benefit. Now available at UNDFTD.

Los Angeles sneaker shop Undefeated is teaming up with Converse and Medicom Toys to collaborate on a special package. It will include two Bearbricks in 100% and 400% sizes, as well as a pair of Converse All Stars, which feature a blue upper wit han animated drawing of a hairy foot at the back end. Here are some pictures of the Converse Black Fives Pro Leather - Century Pack. The Converse Pro Leather made its original release back in 1976 and took over the game of basketball as we know it, being seen on some of the greatest players of all time. This new version is a tribute to the Black Fives who played in the racially segregated basketball era. As part of their 100th Anniversary,Converse decided to create these as apart of a package which also include the All Star Revolution, 1933 Rens All Star. 2008 marks the 100 year anniversary of Converse, and this year, the company is set to release fresh new colorways of many of the sneakers within its line - up. Here, we present you with the Converse Weapon - Youth Shin Hi, in two different colorways, which are now available at select retailers. The color schemes include Black/Pink/Aqua and White/Blue/Neon/Orange. Both pairs feature Velcro straps, which are a new addition to the original Converse Weapon.via SN.

The Converse Chuck Taylor x Dr. Romanelli (Artist #12) is a collaboration between Nike and Dr. Romanelli, who is well known for his Nike track jacket mesh-ups. He would be #12 in Converse’s 1HUND(RED) artists project. The band-aid illustrations are lasered on, and give the shoe a really nice effect. This is just one of many collaborations that is set to release in Converse’s year-long celebration of their 100th anniversary. These are scheduled to drop February 10th. via Complex.
