The Nike Kobe Zoom 81 Team consists of several different colorways inspired by NBA teams. They are very similar to the Nike Zoom Kobe 3, and are actually modeled after them. As we all know, Kobe Bryant, who is probably going to be this year’s league MVP, went to Lower Merion High School in P.A. Here we feature the Nike Zoom Kobe III PE - Lower Merion - The Ace, which are inspired by the colors of Lower Merion High School.They are nicknamed The Ace, and feature a white, silver , and burgundy color scheme. Nike Zoom Kobe fans have been enjoying the latest releases of the Nike Zoom Kobe 3 (III). To their surprise, a new revived version of the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 (I) China Edition PE have been releases in Nike China accounts. They seem to be a Quickstrike release which features the traditional purple and white color-way with the”24″ logo on the side of the heel. The newest Nike Zoom Kobe 3 pays homage to the superstar’s High School team, Lower Merion, where he first realized the type of talent that he possessed. They feature a white / burgundy / silver colorway, and are very attractive, much more than previous colors which weare on either sides of the spectrum, some to loud, and some too bland. Via Kenlu.

As the NBA All Star Game approaches, many companies which have players signed to signature shoes like to release special editions for the All Star Game. Here, we see the pair that Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will be wearing. The colorway is very specific, and matches with the jersey, featuring a crimson and gold colorway. via KicksonFire.
Beijing will be hosting the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, and tohonor of the Olympics, Nike is creating a special edition Zoom Kobe 3 and Zoom Soldier 2. The Zoom Kobe 3 is set to release on July 1st and the Zoom Soldier 2 on August 1st. Both models feature white color schemes with red and blue accents., the same colors as the U.S. Olympic Team. via TSG.
Nike has just released the Kobe III - Lakers Edition on December 22, 2008. They were released at the House of Hoops in New York City, and these shoes are definitely interesting. You either love ‘em or hate ‘em, but only time will tell how they will sell. We are not even sure if true Kobe followers will go out and spend money on theses…but we’ll see.
