New Balance is set to release this collaboration between themselves and the Spy vs. Spy comic series by Mad Magazine. The collaboration can be seen on the MT580J model, and will release in a black colorway as well as a white one, to represent the black spy and white spy. They also feature small details associated with the comics, such as the evil eyes on the upper heel as well as a bomb on one colorway and a stick of dynamite on the other. They are set to release on April 3, 2008 in Japan but are currently available for Japanese residents at mita sneakers. via KicksonFire.

Here we feature an array of colorways, but the special thing about these is the futuristic version of the classic M576 E model, which they thought would be a cool idea to create. New Balance Japan and Mita have just released the New Balance CM1700L Limited Edition. They feature a grey premium leather upper with a checkered pattern along the upper. The colorway is simple, yet most of New Balances color schmes usually are, as they are more about comfort. With the 20th anniversary of the M576 approaching, New Balance has decided to re-release one of the shoe’s oringinal colorways, which features a blue / grey / dark cyan color scheme.  The midsole is yellowed intentionally to give it that old skool look, and it even comes in the vintage NB box and shoe bag. The come in red, green, and orange colorways, and feature materials such as patent leather, suede, mesh, and 3M reflective materials.
