When the name Charles Barkley comes to mind, you think of a raw, outspoken, talented ball player.  But what also comes to mind is the fact that he walked away from the game, never able to win a championship ring.  But he was apart of what many claim to be the greatest team ever assembled in sports history.  As apart of the original Dream Team Barkley helped the U.S.A win two Gold Medals, leading them at Barcelona in ‘92 and at home in the Atlanta Games in ‘96. In both Gold Medal runs he lead the Dream Team in points and also led the team in rebounds in Atlanta.

To honor his achievements as a Gold Medalist, Nike has produced a collection of four Air Force Ones in gold and Team USA colorways.  The center of collection is the Supreme Air Force One Mid whic his almost a hybrid of the Air Force 180 - the shoe that Barkley wore at Barcelona.  Nike decided to replace the tongue with that of the Air Force 180 and added the famous “FORCE” logo across the strap.  All four of the Dream Team Air Force Ones will be released on Saturday, November 17, 2007.
