Nike Air Max 90 – Varsity Red

Nike takes its beloved Air Max 90 and produces it in a new colorway coming in a vibrant varsity red. The shoes feature textured leather paneling which contrasts with smooth leather on the uppers and tonal red mesh. White is seen on the midsoles, laces and several accents throughout the shoe. These can be purchased now through your local Nike retailers.

Nike Air Max Light – Ripstop – Black/Black

Nike releases their Air Max Light in a new tonal black colorway, decked out with ripstop nylon paneling on the toe box, heels and tongue. Additionally, they feature yellow and red accents within the visible air bubble cushioning, on the tongue tag and within the outsole. These are now available through the Titolo online store for those interested in picking them up.

New Balance M574 – Tropical Fruit Pack

Years ago Nike introduced the “Citrus, Watermelon and Kiwi Pack” for their Air Force 1 Low, now New Balance is following somewhat of the same approach.

As seen here, they have just updated its classic M574 model with this brand new tropical fruit pack. To be released sometime in the near future, the style combines its signature suede and mesh upper with new details like a patent leather heel accent and speckled midsole. Intended to infuse a pop of color into your wardrobe this season, the sneaker is available in three different colorways including cantaloupe orange, watermelon red and dragon fruit.

Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk High – “Reign In Blood” – Preview

Brooklyn Projects previews its upcoming collaboration alongside Nike SB, inspired by Slayer’s Reign In Blood album artwork.

Working with the Dunk High, the Los Angeles-based shop gave the shoes a brown suede treatment with a leather swoosh, toe and side panels as well as red accents and denim heels. The shoes still don’t have a set release date but there are rumored to only have been 814 pairs produced in total. Stay tuned for further looks and details on its release.

Nike Air Foamposite One – “Carbon Fiber” – Custom Made

Customized kicks are always a win, that is if you know how to make it absolutely unique. Here we show you the Nike Air Foamposite One custom embossed in another popular silhouette, carbon fiber. The usual Foamposite upper has been replaced with Carbon Fiber over the entire upper, sans the lace stays and ankle collar. Pending the amount of feedback on these, we won’t be surprised if Nike makes a move in mass producing them.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium – Denim

Denim has been an American trademark for a very long time. It has been used to create jeans, bags and jackets that has been able to last over time.

Nike Sportswear has inducted this material into their Summer 2011 footwear collection. Targeting the Air Force 1, it features a gum outsole, metallic bronze piping and dark obsidian denim upper, giving the Air Force 1 Low head turning elements. Named in honor of the President’s aircraft, the classic style has seen many adaptations over almost three decades. As we take a closer look at the shoe, distinct touches such as a brandished tongue and heel tabs, sewn piping and precision fabrication give the shoe that modern feel.

Nike Air Max 97 – White/Black Patent

More updated vintage releases are on the way as Nike has unveiled this new version of the classic Air Max 97 model.

Maintaining its signature, full-length Air bubble unit on the sole that’s since become a standard on other performance sneakers, the shoe features a white upper with black, patent leather trim around the body. Expected to release later this month, the Air Max 97 will be available through select Nike Sportswear stockists worldwide.

Nike SB – May 2011 Releases

Nike SB’s May 2011 Sneaker Collection is wrapping up quite nicely, with a number of old school favorites done with new school flavor.

Included in the drop is three sneakers from the Paul Rodriguez Collection, one of which brings back the famed Cali colorway. The new Dunk High Pro is also included, following the Green/Blue that were dropped in March. One of the standout members of the Nike SB May 2011 collection is the Brown Janoski Mid, as well as a low top version done in Cream/Gumsole.

Nike Sportswear Air Royal Mid – “Mesh” VT

Presented here is a new model of the Nike Air Royal Mid done in contemporary fashion. This latest version of the high-cut sneaker features a mesh treatment over two colorways consisting of red or grey. With a seamless upper, both versions come with a clear outsole. It will be available at the end of this month through select Nike Sportswear stockists.

Nike SB Dunk High – Cheech & Chong

Set as a Quickstrike release at select retailers, these will be hard to come by once you see what’s peeking under the tongue.

Other than the shoes with it’s simple look of white canvas with alternating varsity red detailing on the heel and a denim tongue, the toe reveals something special. The tip is designed to wear away to reveal a Green underside that represents the duo’s favorite indulgence. These are pretty rare but the pairs are definitely out there.
